Artist Statement

                My pottery is handmade functional pottery. All pieces have intended uses and designs. They are at their best when held, utilized and visualized. They have been created using various clay bodies and most have been fired in a electric kiln to cone 6 (2165° F) using lead free food safe glazes.

                My pottery is microwavable and dishwasher safe. A selection of pieces has been wood fired at Peter's Valley Craft Center in Layton N.J. in a Noborigama twin chamber kiln. The fire reduction and ash make these pieces truly unique.
